Dear Grandpa,

I wish I could have one more moment with you to say all the things I didn't. I am so deeply sorry for not being a better grandson when you were here. There were so many times I should have visited more, called more, and just shown you how much you meant to me. I got caught up in life, in my own world, and now, looking back, I realize how precious the time we had together truly was.

You were always so kind, wise, and patient with me, even when I didn't deserve it. I want you to know that I cherish every memory, every lesson you gave me, and I regret that I didn’t show you more love and appreciation when you were still here. I hope you can forgive me.

I promise to carry your values, your kindness, and your spirit with me as I move forward. You will always be in my heart, and I will do my best to honor your memory in everything I do. I miss you, Grandpa. I love you, always.
