@DraconiusRidley @properlyspoopi The Multitool should stick to harvesting and you should have the option to go more aggressive route later, like making a axe/blunt weapon or even future ways to damage using torpedos on the tadpole.

The concept is neat, but atm the game is built around adapting to the life there

Though you are right to want a better way to defend yourself, just can’t rush it ^^

@DraconiusRidley @properlyspoopi Subnautica 2 instantly informs you of adaptations on the planet and attempting to live along side the creatures, even offering your own deaths to further the study.

I do think if you go the violent route then I believe the environment should get just as violent back.

@MonikaCinnyRoll Not gonna lie, that is adorable and if it ever becomes a mod then I’d love that even more! So many of the mods that are out now just kinda.. defeat the purpose of the “Adaptation” portion of the game.

Cause both Below Zero and the first Subnautica had “soft” combat and I’d know cause I played it from the beginning, actually a bit curious by what you mean.
