I expected to be let go anyway (as they hired 2 Kickstarts but didn't have enough work for us both). But I was formally told when management accidentally sent my 'confidental' employee review to the All Staff email 🫠 So my extra month was just damage control 😅

My Kickstart job placement made me redundant TWICE (bc they weren't going to keep me on at their expense, then changed their mind - but also hired someone above me who they soon realised could absorb my role rather than pay 2 full-time wages, so they fired me again a month later)
