You know the times [in which we are living]. It's time for you to wake up. Our salvation is nearer now than when we first became believers. Romans 13:11 (GWT)
The Wrong Friends - Proverbs 4:14-15
One of the things many believers fail to realize is that the people they call friends have a great deal of influence over them
Be it good or bad
Now what is stated here may seem a bit extreme but in reality we do need to consider how we behave
The Right Way To Live Proverbs 4:11-12
Life happens to us all
It seems at times that “life” comes at you from many directions
This is not the time to fall apart or begin to doubt what you know is true
Hold on to what you have been taught, for dear life.
Wisdom For Life - Proverbs 4:10
We are taught by many resources throughout our lives
When they are from The loving creator Father, our Only source
We can live our lives full just as He intends
Can it be stated any plainer that this?
But the wisdom spoken of here comes from God.
Remember that
Most of us want all sorts of things, and there is nothing wrong with wanting or desiring
But when we rely on God for these things His wisdom can teach us the difference
For those of us In Christ that are blessed to have been raised & or influenced by godly parents, mentors, Pastors and strong believers, we understand and value Wisdom based on God’s Word
We will never forget the lessons of life taught nor abandon them

It is fitting that I end my sharing on #communion on this 1st day of a new calendar year
The last thing I'd like to share is this
Because of The Blood of Jesus
I no longer belong to myself
His Blood paid the price for me In full
I am A Temple for The Holy Spirit
When Jesus shed blood in the garden through His sweat
The pressure was so great that its mind boggling
Knowing what He would face very soon, and needing the strength that only a loving Father God can provide
I am reminded That I too can have that strength from My Father
The Blood of Jesus brings us into a New and Better covenant
A spiritual relationship with The Father is now possible for all who believe
I can be as close to God as I want to be without fear or reservation
His blood testifies for me
That I belong to Him
The Blood of Jesus brings
Salvation
Redemption
Sanctification
Righteousness
Eternal Life
Overcomer
Cleansing
Protection
Purge our conscience
Justification
And Oh, So much more
The Blood of Jesus provides me direct access into the presence of The Father
There is no need for any human mediator to go to God on my behalf
I can freely go to Him whenever I want
Without guilt or shame for any misdeeds
Forgiveness is mine
I need only ask
I wont be turned away
I was reminded that The Blood of Jesus speaks better things than the blood of Abel
As the perfect sacrificial offering for Atonement
The punishment or penalty for my sins which is death were applied to Him
The subsequent 7 fold sprinkling of His blood filled all the requirements
What does The Blood of Jesus represent to me?
During #communion I reflected on His blood when I took the wine
Yep
Forgiveness of sins is assuredly at the top of the list
All of my sins.
Every single one of them has been accounted for
Past
Present
Future
This week I shared some of my reflections during #Communion concerning the bread as representing The Body Of Christ
I hope you were blessed and encouraged by them
These truths are clearly stated in The Word for all to read and apply to their lives
Don't wait another day
Partake
Jesus said that He was The Bread that came down from Heaven
He also said Man doesn't live by bread alone, but by the Word of God
Ironically
Jesus Is The Word in human form
I love that
How simple
How true
How complete
Jesus sacrificed His physical body for our sakes and we are eternally grateful
Can we not present our bodies back to Him as living sacrifices?
Perfection In Christ takes time, effort and commitment.
Are you up to the challenge?
