@Jedi_scum69@TheTomWhoLived@Verliswolf@PlayStation Games from your library, but it’s definitely happened. When Afro Samurai 2 dropped, I bought it, and one day after getting home from God knows where, load up my PS4 and that shit was GONE son, no library, no ps store, just gone.
@Gersfan1983uk@JohnCrysis7@TheTomWhoLived@Verliswolf@PlayStation Literally people always buy physical 😂 if you don’t like owning nothing you got it. I stopped buying digital after the shit that happened with the Afro Samurai game. Unless it’s digital only release, I’ll just wait for physical.
@mrpyo1 Galactic Racer
Zero Company
Wolverine
Persona 4 and 6
Final Fantasy 7 Rev and that new FF
And Onimusha.
I’ll be more hype when online drops honestly, never cared for GTA story
@ItsGioDude_@RaccoonDuh@MightyKeef My SB collection is deep, but for some reason I never cared to have rockstars. But that’s because for franchise games I organize them together so it might just be my OCD needing them to be as uniform as possible
RDR2 had a nice one though, GTA V’s was meh imo.
@alxdagot@milkandglitter@Ratchet911101@Stealth40k Code in Box is significantly worse than a GKC, at least the GKCs is a physical product. Code in Box, you’re literally buying a box and renting a game.
GKCs I at least have the illusion of inserting a cartridge to play this fully digital game.
Both are shitty though honestly..
@cjwillprosper@NikeTechRanger On top of that, the studio SoE Austin was acquired by daybreak which scared the player-base because we thought shutdown was imminent. It wasnt until Daybreak came in that we started getting actual consistent updates.
@cjwillprosper@NikeTechRanger They absolutely can yes, but DCUO came out in a time where DLC was just really getting popular. It wouldn’t have made it without players constantly pumping money into their old monthly membership system to play content beyond level 30/CR30 even though it was in the game.
@cjwillprosper@NikeTechRanger It most definitely will, but that’s where meaningful sequels and spin-offs are able to shine fr. It doesn’t become an asset flip with a new story.
@cjwillprosper@NikeTechRanger And please be honest my boy, if DCUO wasn’t multiplayer and didn’t receive constant updates, it would’ve died on PS3. Especially because the two initial cities they gave us to explore were just combat zones with the same mobs.
@cjwillprosper@NikeTechRanger I have 100% for SM1, MMSM, and SM2. Unless I want to experience the story again, there is no reason to play them anymore. Swinging around with the same 4 generic crimes happening is boring now.
@cjwillprosper@NikeTechRanger I hear you with them being able to figure it out, but legitimately whatever they could come up with would be fluff because they know like we do it’s not meaningful at all to the actual character of Logan fam. Different or not, he’s not gonna go around doing ooc stuff
@cjwillprosper@NikeTechRanger There’s only so many car chases you can do before it gets boring dawg 😭 DCUO is a completely different story because it’s not a single player game, it’s an MMO. That requires consistent changes to maintain a player base.
@cjwillprosper@NikeTechRanger I’m just saying he doesn’t do small shit like that. The man is on chill 90% of the time until deployed, he goes and gets drunk, and sits around smoking cigars or teaching class depending on the universe. Old man Logan being the exception but he was on a mission to survive
@cjwillprosper@NikeTechRanger A lot of open worlds are starting to feel dead. There’s only so much to fill it with before you’ve seen it all. Might as well give us each location in a meaningful moment. Rather than “ooo, tall building, I climb” ya know?
@cjwillprosper@NikeTechRanger Transportation wouldn’t be a problem, I’m sure many people wouldn’t mind climbing with claws and riding the bike. It’s the issue of filling the world with something to do that would feel meaningful to the character.
@cjwillprosper@NikeTechRanger So open world New York and Gotham work for them. Wolverine is where he is to get the job done, not visit POIs and save a jewelry store.
@cjwillprosper@NikeTechRanger Spider-Man and Batman work as open world because they are primarily city operating hero’s. Friendly Neighborhood SM literally implies he’ll do random shit for people. Batman on the other hand is seen time and time again stopping petty theft.
