Days ago, I received a phone call that left me incredibly emotional.
In the summer of 2014, my school asked me to act as an exam scribe for a student with special needs and cognitive impairments (طلاب الدمج) who was a year ahead of me.

I haven’t felt that emotional in a very long time. It made me realize that while the world might judge him by his intellectual disabilities, his capacity for pure, uncomplicated gratitude is a depth many of us struggle to reach. Just a pure heart remembering a kind act.
