Women don't hate marriages. They hate what comes with being married.
Always the last one to eat, picking up plates, folding clothes, tucking their savings away, and breathing only when no one else is in the room.
When a girl gets married and crosses a new threshold, she's not asked but almost always expected to be lesser, quieter, and make do with whatever she's given.
If I could erase one word from the existence, it would be 'adjusť. Because I have seen my mother adjust her entire life. And I hate it.
Young girls grow up watching their mothers playing God. A God entirely too sacrificial in nature to have a life of their own. And this instils into us a wavering belief in the concept of marriage.
Because we don't want to be Gods. We just want to be humans, and then girlfriends, wives and mothers.
I grew up in a village in Haryana until I was 17-18 years old.
Yes, casteism exists in many places, but it is not as extreme in Haryana as people portray.
In the same street, you’ll find Jat houses next to Kumhar, Brahmin, Baniya, and SC families. Everyone lives together, visits each other’s homes, and shares a community life.
The older generation sometimes uses caste-related slangs casually because they don’t realise it’s offensive. But the younger generation is much more aware and doesn’t support it.
It’s possible Ankit Bayanpuria faced casteism personally, but generalising and defaming an entire community and the whole of Haryana because of it is unfair and wrong.
@syafiqfirdausz1@Millenial_quips@_midwicket Bro really copied Chatgpt’s response like it was his thesis and still fumbled the logic 💀
India: buys jets lands on the Moon.
You: beg IMF bomb mosques and brag about loans.
“Priorities”? Ours build nations yours beg for extensions.
@SiddharthKG7 We didnt abandon the jet.
We abandoned the political will to back indigenous excellence.
1961 gave us Marut but the import > innovate mindset ensured it never got the fuel it deserved.
@Millenial_quips@_midwicket Yeah 50k Indians might die by trains but at least they arent blowing themselves up in mosques or begging the IMF with a bowl every fiscal year while calling it ‘strategic depth.’ Priorities? right?
3 issues should be raised in the Parliament in Monsoon Session.
1. UPSC should release answer key immediately after the exam.
2. Cut off should be released immediately after the exam.
3. Carbon OMR sheets should be given.
If you're reading this post, please tag the MP of your areas in comments. This chain reaction will prompt them to raise it in the Parliament.
