I was hoping to get a version of SoundByte working again, but the stream and chart APIs no longer work (401), work arounds will take too much time.

Might be able to get YouTube support working, but I must figure out why the new login ClientID is not working.

A new version of SoundByte (22.x) has been pushed to the Microsoft Store. It attempts to fix some of the SoundCloud issues to make the app at least somewhat usable again.

SoundByte Account functionality has been removed from this version of the app.

This isn't a return for SoundByte, and it's not guaranteed that future API changes won't break the app.

You can now download your SoundByte account personal information (including history and likes). Deletion of accounts should now work as expected.

@Innfection1 Sadly that’s the app hitting the YouTube API quota (I still need to fix that). I think it will reset in 12 hours.

Could not find what might be causing the issue. Attempting to revert change to min supported Windows version and re-releasing.

A recent update has broken background playback support on Xbox. Currently investigating.

@Innfection1 The next update (19.12.15) is currently being released. If the issue persists, I’ll take a look at YouTube usage (the library has been update a bit since the last SoundByte update, so I may have implemented something incorrectly)

- SoundCloud playlists not appearing in the app is sadly a limitation SoundCloud applies to 3rd party apps (this also applies to some music) and there is nothing I can do about it. Sorry :(
