@yuukeyna some more RPG/orchestral specific work I've written include this piece from last year, I've arranged music for live orchestras in the past when I was a student so I have a bit of experience in the style

Hello!
I'm looking for a composer based in SEA (preferrable Singapore) for a Frieren/RPGesque BGM.
Being from SEA/SG is not required, but my client really wants to highlight more SG creators since shes from there.
Feel free to comment below or drop me a DM with portfolios
a short demonstration on the adaptive battle music in Diorama Break! (@studiomassimog)
this design is my attempt at taking the common implementation technique of crossfading between two variations of the same track and attempting to iterate on it further- (🧵)
After more than a decade of ideating singable melodies, I'm super proud to say this is my first ever topline work to actually get sung for real.
Massive respect to Flay!, Kanalia, Toki and Cobalt. It's an honor to cook with y'all 🩶✨
@corasundae thanks for letting me know! I recently switched hosting providers and haven’t completely transfered everything over so i’ll check things out
i used to think video game music wasnt like egregious to listen to normally but after meeting a 19yo who genuinely listens to nothing but the sonic soundtrack and related fansongs i think we need to nuke all video game composers
I realized a while back that I tend to get very seasonal bouts of depression and the middle of the year tends to be when they start weighing on me quite a bit so if I’m harder to get a hold of or if i’m behind on my responses, i’m probably just a bit overwhelmed lol
sorry I haven’t been active all too much lately, to be completely transparent I’ve been working myself to death and am feeling some Serious burnout without energy to do much of anything else this past few months… i’ll be away near the end of this month for a much needed break.

I feel like a lot of JP media operates under this idea of ‘rule of cool’ where creators are more willing to throw shit together for the sake of novelty or self-indulgence… something that has always been sort of frowned upon in more market-focused, risk-averse western industries.
🔹ANNOUNCEMENT🔹
The DLC soundtrack to @Papercatgames' Paper Perjury, featuring music from Case 6: Regrets and Perjury, is OUT NOW!
it's a much smaller release featuring all four of the new tracks that I composed for this case
out now on bandcamp! 🔗⤵️ (streaming coming later)
it like, lowkey sort of bums me out whenever i see younger producers come up to me with lists of their musical inspirations and it's like 20 guys all vaguely doing the same thing stylistically lol (obv. they're all exceptional in their own unique ways though)
I feel like one thing that a lot of budding composers and producers should understand is that you shouldn't get all of your inspiration from the same place; you should seek it out from different scenes to the one you're operating in, and even different mediums and artforms.
imho if you're looking to produce a certain kind of music, i'd avoid listening to other producers who work in that same style entirely bc mentally i find it boxes you in the mindset of trying to 'live up to' its inspirations and your music subconsciously warps to fit that box.
Thank you for all the feedback from users overseas.
The initial release will only support built-in fonts.
Depending on demand, I’m considering adding basic multilingual support using fonts with clear licensing, such as GoogleFonts.
