@wyshynski@GoldenKnights If you saw the clip of Torts being informed by the trainer, you’ll know why no one is surprised. It was right before the two penalties.
I don’t understand this ‘leafs traded the same pick twice’ thing. That, in fact, didn’t happen. People seem to think that the NHL magically gave the Leafs this option when the Flyers seem to be unaware that they agreed to that option in the trade and now they’re mad about it.
It’s been a minute since I wrote about the Flyers. So I spent a good chunk of Tuesday on the phone in order to write this today for @OnPattison:

@PuckPedia the league had to know about this when the trade was made. they had to have informed the flyers what was happening if a condition had to be amended to add an option. seems the flyers are just trying to play victim.
Fetterman seems to believe that Platner sent photos of himself to women, calling him “Captain Dick pic.”
“Have we become the pro-dick party?” he adds
“Did he send a dick pic?” asks @ArthurDelaneyHP
“He hasn't denied that, but he could clear it up and show it,” Fetterman says
@NateSilver538 they had a better candidate 6 years ago and she underperformed by 11 points and lost in a blue year. you say maine is a top 5 state and this is what the primary bore out
It’s strange (no it’s not) that all his friends say he deserves a second chance (third), maybe some of those players can be witnesses to whether or not he’s owned mistakes. We all know hockey is a world where everyone reforms through work despite there never being any evidence.
Fair, Michael, and I understand why people feel that way.
Reasons I'm for Mike: I know him, well enough to say he's a good man who made real mistakes and has owned them. He has paid for it, years out of the league and millions lost. When someone has truly faced the consequences of what they did, I believe they've earned a second chance. Mike has.
That said, this only works with real guardrails and a zero tolerance line if the old patterns come back. With players, management and ownership having had direct conversations there is no reason not to move forward. Mike will have to prove every day he has earned the opportunity and I believe he will.
You should know by the amount of appearances I have done on @Bob_Stauffer@OilersNow I am positive and negative at times but never say things I don't believe in. Which means I get lots of things wrong. Time will tell here.
If it’s determined an investigation is required to move forward, sources say the NHL would manage it. At this stage, the NHLPA has declined to comment.
