Brass instruments sound amazing when recorded properly, but can sound comical if done badly 🙃

Here's our top tips for recording brass instruments in a studio.

5️⃣ Cover the basics "at source".
Always try to "get it right" at source... or as close to it as poss. If you have a high-pass filter at your disposal in the recording stage, use it to clean up the sound & reduce unwanted frequencies on the way in. Ain't nobody got time for that!
