Brutal, heart-breaking images coming out from Jasper.

Great news (though why on Earth did this take 3 years?)
I’ve been thinking a lot about how this show had a crisis and came back feeling like a fresh and renewed version of itself.
Other shows have fall apart under similar circumstances.
That’s a feat!
1) Exclusive: Afters targeting businesses, Quebec's French-language inspectors are now shifting their focus to inspecting hospitals in Montreal. See my story below.

A perfect encapsulation of Twitter is that virtually all mentions of Kamala Harris going to school in Montreal come from people complaining about not wanting to hear that Kamala Harris went to school in Montreal.
1) Breaking: Quebec last year reported the biggest single increase in doctors quitting the public system to charge patients for a wide range of procedures that would normally be covered under medicare, especially for hip and joint replacements. See below.👇https://t.co/ZrqhMPRvkG
Every scene with a Fak is straight up comedy. But even the heavy stuff has comedic beats. Like when Mikey and Richie are trying to decide what to do when Tina’s crying in the restaurant, it’s funny! It would be as or even more funny if Tina was rich.
The ICJ determined Israel's occupation of Gaza, the West Bank & East Jerusalem *as a single territorial unit* is illegal by examining Israel's policies and practices in place before Oct 7. But the Court was clear that Israel's assault on Gaza is *part of* of the occupation. 🧵
If you listen to any episode of our show, make it this one.
Canadian writers are withdrawing their books from consideration for the biggest literary prize in Canada. Today, I talked to @omarelakkad about it.

Our Crook Manifesto: delivering another episode that's so good, it should be criminal 😏 We return to two-time Pulitzer winner Colson Whitehead for the follow-up to Harlem Shuffle. Listen up! https://t.co/TztaS0mNgm
I don't understand when people say the suburbs aren't walkable. Growing up in Chateauguay, Quebec, you could walk to the field and get shot with a pellet gun. You could walk to the railroad tracks and get drunk. You could walk to the swamp. So much walking opportunity!
