@RosenthalHealth@TheAtlantic@KFFHealthNews I just read your article on Apple News, which was very touching and heartbreaking, all the same. I came here to tell you: You opened my eyes up.
Death is real and something we all are going to experience one day, good or bad, painful or peaceful. Keep fighting the good fight!
@Juliedonuts We are the only species on this blue ball that charges rent to live here. We spend the prime of our lives learning the wrong things and working just to exist, only to retire when we’re too old to care or die trying to survive.
@RogueCourant By far. So far that Jackie is Pluto if Melania is Earth. Sorry. It’s just the truth. It’s so true that all the fashion designers and publications awkwardly ignore it.
Me: “Look! I mean… seriously wow!”
Vogue: (Yawns) “Huh? At what? Where?”
Like shut up “fashion mags”.
@RogueCourant@elonmusk I’m gonna be honest: I wish I was smart enough to understand your rhetorical question, as it seems extremely important.
This is why social media is inherently bad: how many people assumed they understood your tweet but missed the point?
Me: It looks cool though.
You: 🤦🏻
AI is extremely overhyped and underwhelming all at once. I’m not sure most people get that part: “the hype”. It’s a great tool if you know how to prompt/train it.
The reality?
No thanks. I am going to focus my energy on training my own kids and less an algorithm.
@BNFriendly1@SecretaryBurgum@Interior@USGS That’s what we were told, but those of us that have seen this whole thing coming years ago are very disappointed with how this is all being handled. Dare I say, “same ole, same ole”.
You are correct though: we couldn’t throw enough money, manpower or resources at this.
@frashizmyniz@SecretaryBurgum@Interior@USGS There in lies the problem: plenty of US citizens ready to go solve this problem, but all the money is going overseas or to foreign governments/companies, and NOT into US startups with technologies that are way better than anything Australia has. MP Material is a Chinese company.
