🚨 Hartford Police Investigate Non-Fatal Shooting 🚨

Hartford Police officers responded to the area of 214 Westland Street following a ShotSpotter notification.

Upon arrival, officers located evidence of gunfire. While officers were on scene investigating, an area hospital reported a walk-in gunshot victim arriving for treatment. The victim, a 17-year-old male, sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and is listed in stable condition.

The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions responded and have assumed the investigation.

This remains an active and ongoing investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the HPD Tip Line at 860-722-TIPS (8477).
