@DamieNelson@SwayDasafo@Y1079FM 2019 we had this conversation! We spoke about EVERYTHING. I donโt think he did anything like it after. Itโs sad it takes death to show who people truly are and their impact.
Rest well brother @SwayDasafo. You bridged a long gap for the Diaspora and Motherland. You led not just by exampleโฆ in communism too.

Thank you for honouring me and other UK and diaspora Ghanaians on this song. Thank for repping UK rap music, for truly being a genuine talent and for elevating whole genre of music and inspiring us. Indeed you were a 'Black Star'. @SwayDasafo#RipSway
Rest well my brother @SwayDasafo! You know your memory will live long through your music and most importantly the kindness and warmth you showed the world. Luv always

@kwesiriley_ stop using peopleโs IP without permission!
So weโre talking about principles now? Interesting! crediting someone using content without the original creatorsโ permission. Does principle only matter when itโs convenient?
To the artiste: @sarkodie
After your RAH show in the UK, I called you the next day to congratulate you and we spoke for 10 minutes+.
After my OVO โ you posted the second video on social media... Whatever message you meant to send across, only you can explain.
After I made that factual tweet, I still went ahead to send you a message because you were posting some cryptic stuff.
You called back immediately. I missed it, but I called you back after, and we spoke for more than an hour on industry, behaviors, and perspectives.
You were very clear about how no artiste could be "forced" to uphold any form of principle. That, literally, in our industry, artistes must play along so far as it benefits them, and it cannot matter how, because we all care about different things. Which is evident in Video 1.
Standing on just these 2 videos for now, I believe this tweet of yours has been equally considered. And you will agree that without PRINCIPLE, advice is an OPINION.

Today weโre playing back a show from five years ago: #TheSoundboySession originally broadcast on @Y1079FM on 4 September 2021.
When I say I put the T in #Timeless, you better understand why.
This is how @soundboyt sounded 5 years ago on the BIG Y. ๐ฅ๐ป
Sarkodie explains why he admires Yaw Sarpong. According to him, Yaw Sarpong's music never questioned the existence of God or why things happen the way they do.
16 years after our first conversation, we caught up on faith, family, growth and legacy.
Now, the next chapter awaits.
@sarkodie live at The O2 Arena, London.
๐ 6 March 2027
