Delighted to announce that @oelgarwany, a PhD student in my group @sangerinstitute, has won a Charles J. Epstein Trainee Award for excellence in human genetic research, in the pre-doctoral category. Omar has identified spliceQTLs in macrophages associated with disease. Congrats!
