@PatoValladares I've never tested it but I believe with Karabiner-Elements you do stuff like set the Option key as "sticky" (always down) on a specific keyboard. Then set Soundplant to only respond to Option+ Background Key Input. That way you can have a keyboard that only triggers Soundplant
There's been a saga in the Sheffield subreddit where people are going to a specific co-op on eccy road and delighting in the freezers that are seemingly tuned to a C# chord.

Someone finally recorded it, it's fucking beautiful.
added The Shortwave Radio Audio Archive to Soundplant's list of free sound archives, this is a cool one, great for rando spoken word samples, h/t @Thom_Holmes https://t.co/Tif4WMEb96
A note about the version numbering - I'd painted myself into a corner with the whole v50-point-forever thing (50 was such a nice round number!! now I know how Apple felt with OS X!) but it's time to move on, & after some internal/private builds here we are at v59

Oh and for those wondering, "how can you do a software release in 2026 & not mention AI?", well there you go I said it
Seriously folks, make sure to create real things and support handcrafted products in 2026 (and yes that includes handcrafted software)
With the new MIDI CC features, you can do some cool configurations. Like: control lowpass and resonance on a group of 5 keys with a single physical slider, master volume with another slider, pan on another key with a dial encoder, etc. Lots of possibilities & permutations.
@FGatto2000 It's doable but I'm not there yet. Mac & Windows are the priority for now but I've been meaning to get to doing a Linux version. Especially if more people ask for it. Hard to know how many ppl are actually
using Linux for audio these days.
