Really, a cube is "solvable" if it's possible to recreate it as depicted from a normal solved cube. There are many ways to conclude it's not however...

One thing that cube nerds like to do is examine cube depictions and see if they are "solvable" or not. The cube on this shirt, ironically, can not be solved. It has an extra red/blue corner piece. On a real cube there could only be 2.

The actual Rubik's brand does a pretty good job with it's merch. I was able to "solve" a cube to exactly match the one this Pusheen is holding. Perfectly solvable.
