A thread on the philosophical tenets espoused by Library of Ruina, as I have adopted them to be the core of my being - informing how I think, how I act, how I approach the world, and the people and society therein:
I wonder if the canonical way to approach battles in Limbus Company, at least abnormalities, is to not read anything until you lose at least once. Because often the observation logs will talk about things you've already learned just be reading skill/passive descriptions.
It's funny to think about how canonically, Mirror Dungeons now largely consist of every sinner being dead for an extended period of time while Ryoshu does all the work.
At least she probably has fun killing them.
(no, it wasn't intentional, and the color saturation is because I use an HDR monitor)
Could probably cut a few turns with the current IDs, but won't until the HoS Thumb duo is released. I set up S3 for sinking but used bleed, and probably should've done less substitutions for S5
@inkblotPrincess Shallow understanding of OP, politics, and history.
Being at Little Garden, the point of Alabasta isn't yet clear. But OP is anti-PMC (Baroque Works), against genetic supremacy and corruption (Arlong Park), and for universal food (Sanji), to name just a few of its leftist themes
@inkblotPrincess One Piece is agnostic to the form a political system takes, as long as it is popularly supported and isn't oppressive. It uses monarchies as functionally a catch-all for governing bodies.
People who say it isn't leftist because "monarchies" have a very shallow understanding.
One indication that Oda is agnostic towards the form a political system takes so long as it serves its people, is that the leader of every nation is referred to as "king/queen." Most are positioned by their bloodline, it's true, but even ones using alternate means are "kings."
Upon reflection, I don't think a second American Civil War would happen, because it would be over as soon as it starts. I don't think the right has a sizeable support base willing to fight and die for their ideology, they're fucking cowards who want other people to die for them.
@mudkippl@NorthernIion_LP Railway might not represent practicality (especially optimizing turn count) but it demonstrates the nuances well
Turn 1 bear: no resources, only 4 clashable skills
Slow enemies = staggering before ass def can proc
Staggers and enemy gimmicks means few opprtnities to use Lu cntr
@mudkippl@NorthernIion_LP Shockingly tricky
Concept not difficult, but many minor details
-ctrs give status on use
-ass def doesn't redirect from those who use grd or Lu, need 4 glut for status gen
--both above means careful about staggering
-Lu ctr retreat spam: deliberate dmging; on use not cmbt start
@NorthernIion_LP@CivilSerena I hope you don't continue to feel that way as you continue onwards, because the gameplay is constructed to enhance the narrative, from its difficulty to how the characters fight to the effects attached to them and their skills.
@NorthernIion_LP Pro tip: if you have a mouse with side buttons, bind them to P and Enter. P is the shortcut that cycles the auto target functions, and Enter will start the combat.
I basically tab over every 30 seconds to do a fraction of a second of input.
@discord This statement is misleading and attempts to minimize the very invasive practices involved in any form age verification/age "assurance".
Here's a video I did breaking down why this technology is extremely invasive and should not be rolled out https://t.co/xpmNIPlQE0
The two people seem to misunderstand most are Index and Middle, as their nursefathers are chill and superficially respectable:
Rien is constantly reiterated as neglecting Sora, making her lonely
Matthias wrote up Ezra for unknowingly insinuating he did something he didn't do
PM doing a good job characterizing why the fingers suck:
Thumb: absolute hierarchy
Index: superficial feelings, no attachment
Middle: even minor perceived infractions are unacceptable
Ring: exists
Pinky: might be individual, but personal freedom over all freedom
@WHChiefButler 1) lesser evil theory
2) genuinely regrets and atones
3) god complex
4) fascist
5) betrayed her bosses because the fated lovers trope is too cringe
6) who? at least he isn't Gubo?
7) murder racket ringleader
8) war criminal with unclear motives
9) worships at the altar of 1
