We knew >90% of the Nile-derived sediments has been trapped behind the Aswan dams, but still unbelievable to see how clean the Nile River water is before emptying into the sea. I suspect sediments might even move into the river from the shelf, like the Mekong.
The might Indus River, which harbored the 9000-yr civilization, has been drying up now. Though the glaciers over the head are melting rapidly, but not really too much water reaching the main channel and river delta. A great S2S journey here!
Being a man is not an easy thing: The most recent study shows: 1973-2018 there are a significant decrease in sperm concentration (51.6%) and total sperm count (62.3%) . The post-2000 declining rate is much faster than pre-2000. Man, take care of ourself.
