"Regulators must close these loopholes."

We investigated Stanlow refinery's environmental record, finding that UK authorities awarded it a 'no-limit' permit that helped it avoid scrutiny for discharging oil in a protected wildlife site.

It's great to see two of our reporters, @lukewbarratt and @AtikaRehman, named as winners of a @CoveringClimate award.

We worked together with Earth Journalism Network and with journalists across Asia to investigate the environmental impact of a massive increase in data centres.

“Harvesting and using wood for any purpose becomes carbon negative, and the more wood used the better.”

Inside the battle between lobbyists and scientists at GHG Protocol over how to count emissions from deforestation.

[SourceMaterial @Source_Mat]

In a pilot of the industry proposal, one US paper company found that its use of wood not only emitted no greenhouse gases but actually removed 45 million tonnes of carbon—equivalent to the annual emissions from 12 coal power stations.

In undercover interviews, these men have told us they must make sure the shadow fleet tanker reaches its destination without being stopped by western nations as the ship passes through.

In 2025, the vessels carried between $80 and $100 billion worth of oil.
