In STEM, our scholars have been learning how to code robots. They will be using these robots to compete in several Olympic games. The middle schoolers from our engineering elective have created special arenas for them to compete.

Mrs. Khurram’s 1st grade has been learning about the relationship between the earth & sun by making observations of their shadows. They drew conclusions about the length of their shadows based on the location of the sun.
On Friday, Ms. Mili’s Young Fives transformed into a rainforest as scholars learned about rain forest animals. The room was decked out with a tree, table coverings & other decor. The kids made safari hats and binoculars and did a variety of fun activities.
Our lunch provider, SFE (Southwest Foodservice Excellence), planned a “Farmers Market” for our scholars. Our students got to try new fruits and vegetables that are not typically served in our school lunch program.
We are grateful SFE team for planning this for our school!
Fifth graders in Mrs. Martin’s music class are learning how to play the ukulele. They are learning different chords while playing and singing several songs. Today they were playing and singing “I’m Singing In The Rain” while in their music class. Way to go scholars!
