Congrats to junior Kristina Segura Chavez for being 1 of 100 students selected nationwide for LEDA, an all-expenses-paid, elite college prep program at Yale and Princeton University this summer. She is the 10th student from South High selected for this national honor since 2012.

@FAFSA This issue is still listed as unresolved with no work around, has the issue been fixed or is this post premature? If the issue has not been addressed, lack of communication along with this post is very confusing and stressful for students with non-citizen parents.

Some statistics on this amazing honor: Only 2 National Scholars are selected each year from Kansas. Isaiaz and Kalon bring South High’s total to 11 national scholars during the last 10 years. For state scholars, only 10 students are selected statewide. Go Titans!
