After an ENORMOUS clear out of books at school, we have got six boxes of books looking for a new home. Some are reading scheme books but all are in perfectly good condition. Looking for somewhere that would benefit from them! @SouthLeedsLife @SouthLeedsMum #Leeds #reading #books

Just a reminder that, each summer, we *don't* do an August print edition. Lots of people and organisations (especially schools) are off. And we need a short breather! But there's fresh content online daily, or read our combined July-August edition at: https://t.co/JnTFNZ3nQj.

At @BeestonFestival, we're always looking for the Next Big Idea for next year. So, how about something like this (spotted in rural Devon) for 2020: "It's A Knockout" team challenges, baby racing, sack races, + other madcap mayhem? All-age stuff, an inter-schools element, etc.

With temperatures reaching 30 degrees in Leeds this week, it's important that we all stay safe.

To help keep you & your family safe, @BBC have produced some helpful info on wearing sunscreen.

Don't forget to apply yours!

Found this creative arts space for kids in a shopping centre in Seville this week. Not much space for physical play but I love how all their artwork is being displayed. @EmmaMBearman
