For many young people, there’s no subject more important than music. No lesson more important than their music lesson. No part of the week more valued than their ensemble rehearsal. No part of their education more necessary to their health and wellbeing. Music is absolutely core.

We'll be back this weekend, counting down to our Winter concert!
make sure to pick up your raffle tickets, guess how many sweets are in the tin, and sign up to perform in the concert on 10th DECEMBER! #SouthLeeds #winterconcert #Beeston #Middleton #Holbeck #Hunslet #Morley

Music isn’t extra. Music isn’t additional. Music isn’t discretionary. Music isn’t an add on. And, music isn’t disposable. Music Education is core. It’s fundamental. It’s necessary. It’s an irreplaceable component of a holistic and meaningful education. That’s what music is.

[ABRSM @ABRSM]
