@hannahgarrettac When did she wear skinny jeans? Wasn’t all of Hannah’s pants wider legged? Thinking of those ones with the red appliqués on them especially
@fwtimini I don’t get why so many people have to have their own firework show in their driveways or in the street when pretty much every jurisdiction has a firework show. Just go watch that show and leave the neighborhoods clean and quiet. I have so much clean up to do every July 5th
@PeterJenki49286@TheDegenWeekly Seriously. Like why do people care so much about what other people do or don’t like to get so angry at his take? 😂 they like fireworks, he doesn’t. The end
Independence has been declared, the population is learning about the document, but there is a general sense of: “now, what shall we do?”
It is true that the United Colonies or United States or whatever this nation is called is unilaterally independent, but her parent nation shall not release her easily.
The Declaration of Independence is signed - but the battle has only just begun.
For some unknown reason, Thomas Jefferson is preoccupied this morning with recording the temperature.
He writes that upon awaking at 6 AM, the temperature is a pleasant 68.0 degrees Fahrenheit, but that it is creeping up toward 70.
On his way to Congress, Jefferson purchases a thermometer. It costs three pounds and 15 shillings.
No-body knows why he is so concerned with the temperature today, especially, and for what reason he desires an accurate read.
Happy Independence Day 🇺🇸
From battlefields and memorials to parks and protected landscapes, the places cared for by the National Park Service help bring our shared history to life.
