This is the third time Trump has said that grass has “life like humans.” He is close to embracing the truth of 無情佛性 (wúqíng fóxìng), the Buddha-like nature of all things, and rejecting the false binary of sentience/insentience.
The U.S.’ war on “narcoterrorists” in Latin America has always been about eliminating the competition. The U.S. is so brazen about this that they used a drug traffickers plane to organize the escape of their man in Brazil.
USA fumbled millennials real bad. We were so ready be productive citizens. We were told that in order to have a beautiful life, all we needed to do was say no to drugs, get an education, get a good job, get married, buy a house, have children, & live happily ever after. But noooo
It only works if Republicans are so dumb that they can’t read a ballot where it clearly states which Dan Sullivan is the GOP candidate. Republicans are just mad they didn’t come up with this Looney Tunes-ass idea first.
BREAKING: Democrats secretly recruited a second candidate named Dan Sullivan to run against GOP Sen. Dan Sullivan in Alaska, hoping to confuse voters & boost Mary Peltola's chances, per NYT investigation.
@DvidTwit@michael_galant It is good but deeply disappointing that several countries in South America have now voted against or abstained for the first time, including Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, and Peru. Where is the solidarity?

Last year, the resolution to condemn the US’ illegal blockade of Cuba passed 165-7 with 12 abstentions. This year, it passed 130-17 with 25 abstentions, incl. new “against” votes from Colombia and Ecuador and new abstentions from Chile and Peru. Shame on genocide apologists!
A dismal showing of solidarity with Cuba today at the UN. The direct consequence of the Trump administration running roughshod over Latin America. The US’ illegal blockade of Cuba is genocidal, and history will remember the apologists.
This whole Flavio Bolsonaro escapade makes it abundantly clear that the past two years of ICE operations was never about deporting “illegal criminals.”
Irony of ironies: the same day that the US is accusing Cuba of all sorts of falsehoods at the UN, Marco Rubio snuck the criminal Flavio Bolsonaro out of Brazil to Miami so he can evade justice from Lula, the duly elected leader of his home country. Who is the real “regime” here?
@Liberation_Blk Very well put. Few people, even on the “left,” know that the U.S. and Cuba still engage in trade with one another. Even if the blockade and sanctions were to miraculously end tomorrow, it’s highly likely that the U.S. and Cuba would remain major trade partners.
This will be the 1st UN vote to end the US “embargo” of Cuba since the fuel blockade began in Jan. Since then, infant mortality and hunger have increased sharply. The genocidal intent of US foreign policy towards Cuba becomes more clear with each passing day. Where is the outcry?
Right now, Cuba needs our solidarity, not attacks from so-called progressives. It’s our duty to end the blockade, end the sanctions, and stop our own government’s war on Cuba.
