It was a pleasure to once again support one of our favourite UK-based acts, Paraorchestra, as they brought their acclaimed Kraftwerk Re:werk show to this year’s FORWARDS Festival.
Our partnership with Imperial College London has deepened and developed into something truly helping us push the boundary of immersive experiences (and venues) in London. We're constantly inspired by their team and students, and look forward to new partnerships and FUN
It has been an intensive summer of preparation here at Southby.
Our biggest shows always come together long before they reach site, built and tested across our warehouse floor first. With so much on at once, we sent a drone up to capture it.

Our immersive team recently spent a weekend in Italy at the #Ravenna and #Puccini festivals where #dbsoundscape features in a wide variety of ways (acoustic shell, 180°, 360° and even LR Rendering) across various stages, programmes and a huge variety of music.
Awesome to be working with Josh and Liam on some new immersive renderings of their work. @mindfidelity creates bespoke sound, music composition and original sonic wellness concepts, creating distinctive, crafted experiences through sound.
Our Integration team is currently delivering a major audio upgrade to Imperial College London’s Great Hall designed to transform the venue for performances, events, lectures and presentations.
We were incredibly proud to deliver the live audio for one of London's biggest live events for the very first time.
We're especially grateful for the fantastic feedback we received from both the client and the visiting engineers, and we can't wait to do it all again.
Working with @audiobrewers#ambisonic plugins to render and decode the NTSF1 recordings we took alongside the 360° camera. Already sounding fantastic in binaural, the next step is to render these out into our studio on both the #fulldome and full-scale #dbsoundscape systems.
“Ladies and gentlemen, this is your beginners call.” 🎭
Tomorrow we load in for West End Live.
50+ performances.
Countless snapshots.
One incredible weekend ahead.
We’re proud to be part of bringing the West End to Trafalgar Square.
One string. One channel. Infinite possibilities.
The @submarinepickup outputs each string of an acoustic or electric guitar on its own discrete channel, unlocking a level of spatial processing we genuinely haven't heard before.
It was such a pleasure to host the Ivor-nominated composer and violinist Ruby Colley in our studio for explorations toward #whatsnext for her. Bird calls, live performance, live processing, all spatialised into a beautiful soundscape triggered and controlled via foot pedals. 🤩
What a pleasure to welcome transdisciplinary artist Clémentine Bedos and sound artist Mohammed Rowe into our studio to explore how #dBSoundscape could bring their ambisonic work to life, from live vocal processing to spatial rendering for their upcoming film release.
Can you record an acoustic instrument in a dry studio, using En-Space to inform the performance, subtly enhance the recording, and glue the final result together?
The answer, it turns out, is yes.
