Southend Council have introduced a buy 1-hour of parking, get a free hour of parking offer across all council owned car parks. Parking is also now free from 4pm.

It applies 7 days a week in car parks only (not on-street bays) and is only applicable to a 1-hour parking ticket.

Franky, aged 5, has been out on his front door step every Thursday since the lockdown began clapping to show his support for the NHS.

This Saturday it's his Birthday.

So Police officers from Castle Point & Rochford joined Franky to thank the NHS workers for their hard work.
