It feels like Christmas Eve, eagerly awaiting tomorrow. It’s going to be an early start, leaving home at 8am, thank god it’s an evening kick off. I am so excited!

Everything about Isak’s words proves he tried his best to stop us from qualifying for the champions league, but even when playing with 10 men, we accomplished that as a team, united.

Eddie Howe deserves every compliment once aimed towards the swede, and the way that he has treated Eddie, the club, his teammates is nothing short of shameful.

He started a legacy at Newcastle and chose to tear that down to get what he wanted. Most Newcastle fans will admit we know where we currently are on our journey, and that players come and go, some on free some for large fees, but it is never about why you leave, it is all about how you left, that is what you chose, and even with all that going on Eddie did nothing but protect you and keep holding out that olive branch, it shows the true honour that man has for the club and his players that are contracted to the club, even til the bitter end of your stint with the club.

Now to the future, I feel we will look back on this window with hope and optimism, we have improved in every position, the floor has been massively raised and the squad is stronger and deeper, which is going to prove far more valuable with another Champions League campaign on the horizon.

Remember, We Are Newcastle, United.
