@katynotie I'm almost 51 and have been there so many times this year. I have a reason though, my daughter is in a punk/stoner rock band (The Orchids), and they are playing there again tonight. It's a cool spot.
@BruceFraser Scotiabank is also horrible. A parents death is hard enough, but the months afterwards are gut wrenching. Everyday can be a fresh new hell.
@MandyWoodRadio I don't know of one in Truro, but my daughters band just recorded an album at The Drum Room in Three Fathoms Harbour (just outside of Cole Harbour) and had a great experience. Long and McQuade may know of someone. CEC may also be an option as well.
NOD ZINE just posted an amazing feature on The Orchids. If you dig what you read, they have a ton of shows coming up July/August.

@Girrl_Friday I'm so sorry to hear this. He looks like a sweet boy. We did palliative care at home for our cat last fall until he passed right before Christmas. It was hard, but no regrets here. We don't have a support option in Colchester County.
@BruceFraser It's a lot. I learned things I didn't know I needed to know when Mom got Glioblastoma Brain Cancer. Her last 2 months & the year afterward were full of patient advocacy, documentation, and eventual filing of complaints. At least we keep her comfortable & helped Dad.
