Whitney Ray scored 10 of his game-high 16 points in the 2nd half and Bradley Dodson and Bryan Jernigan scored 10 and 8 points, respectively, to help lead Alma to a 48-27 win over Mulberry. Michael Robertson had 4 points, and Chad Lee and Ron Bennett added 3 apiece.

Whitney Ray scored 32 points and the Alma Airedales upset the Parkview Patriots, 47-39, at the Coca-Cola Classic at Southside High School. Ray finished the ‘98-99 season with 536 points and led the team in scoring with 21.4 points per game.
