Organics vs synthetic. Choose what you want but know the difference.

I’m covering this because I’ve had far too many people argue organics is the only way to achieve “clean cannabis” and this is one of the biggest lies in the industry.

Organic nutrients become inorganic compounds, the same compounds salt becomes once it touches water, the main difference is you don’t have mineralization with salts and you gain 100% precision

And no I don’t care what you grow with but at least be educated in a conversation forward, saying you don’t touch salt packs is putting a huge sign over your head that says “I don’t know much about nutrients yet” bet, I got you.

So we input worm castings to our pots, after mineralization NO3- will be one of the final forms of it though there will be other ions present the main ion in mineralized worm castings will be NO3-

How does it work? During the mineralization process, the nitrogen present in the organic matter is converted into various forms. One of the key transformations is the conversion of organic nitrogen into ammonium (NH4+). This process is known as ammonification. Through ammonification is further oxidized by nitrifying bacteria. These bacteria convert ammonium into nitrite (NO2-) and then into nitrate (NO3-). This process is known as nitrification The resulting nitrate (NO3-) is a readily available form of nitrogen that plants can easily absorb and utilize for their growth and development.

When salt growers input their powders into their Autopot res the nutrient load is ready to be delivered instantly.

Growing with salts over organics is going to derive better results, salts are significantly more efficient and easier to control, there’s fewer variables, your biggest hurdles are maintaining your root zone which is easy with either a calced formula or a turn key program, any salts can be made great, some come out of the bag great some are tomato feed that has to be adjusted, either or nutrients are nutrients.

Organics is a method you can use but it’s not a healthier or easier method, Infact organics is much harder. I’d bet money Autopots has a harder time trouble shooting organics than they do salt growers. Salts is so easy I can grow people’s plants that have never grown before, can’t do that with organics.

Check your ph run off in a salt coco run your run off wil tell you everything you need to know, if your run off is higher, your under feeding, if it’s lower your under feeding, if your dead on your input ph or a .1-.2 up or down your very likely right on the money.

The 2.2s which with domes break down to 1.7 gallons of coco per pot are the best option as your able to rectify issues should they arise with a total flush of a full 5 gallon bucket per pot.

3.9s is 10 gallons (if you have domes and bases in)

All in all, you now know that organic nutrients break down into inorganic compounds, the same compounds as salt once it touches water. Which also poses the theory salt grown can be cleaner as you have greater control of nutrients and can even deprive if you felt it to be nec

I soak the cubes with 4.6/3.1 cropsalt, sow into them. 2 days later they pop up ready to go. Into 2.2s . 9 days later 2 feed events 2.2s will go on.
