Devastating news for families of at least twenty three community members whose deaths have not been investigated as per state law.
"The Sheriff's office must notify families of people who died in custody of the failure to investigate.... it's a travesty," said Krish Gundu.

We are looking forward to another successful Spring build season! Our build days are 03.08, 03.25, 04.22, and 05.02. Which day can you join us this year @RepVeasey?
I recently visited the Southside Community Garden in Fort Worth to meet with local community leaders who share a commitment to growing vegetables, learning sustainability, & promoting justice through food. Congrats to this group for all they are doing in North Texas!

Great time with Patrice Jones this morning at an event hosted by the Southside Community Garden and Blue Zones Project in the Morningside area of Fort Worth. 100+ volunteers showed up to help build gardens that will improve access to fresh produce.
