He asked with a smile on his face.

@SerpentKatie He leaned his head down and pressed his lips to hers gently. Then he moved back and waited for her response.

“I’ve been thinking about you all day.”

“Uh, can I have a word with you outside?”

He took a drink

“So about what I said last night..”

He ordered a whiskey from the bar and sat down next to her

“How are you feeling?”

He raised an eyebrow

“You can come if you want.”

“Nothing much really, I have to go down to the Wyrm tonight for the meeting but that’s it.”

@SerpentKatie He kissed her forehead and shut the door quietly behind him, making his way to the couch but not getting much sleep.

“Almost impossible.”

He cleared his throat and looked away

“You need to get to sleep.”

“Yeah. It makes me mad when you’re in danger. I try to keep you out of it, even though I know you’re tough and can handle yourself. It’s just...hard you know?”
