On Memorial Day, SWHS Band students competed at the UIL State Solo and Ensemble Contest. Percussion students earned gold and silver medals!

Congrats to SWHS Band’s Rene Lozano, who earned a gold medal on his piccolo solo; Michael Martinez tenor sax solo silver medal, and sax quartet entitled Turbo Scramjet also a gold medal at the UIL State Solo and Ensemble Contest on Memorial Day! @swisd @swisd_swhs @SouthwestBand
