This Coldcard hack cuts deeper than anything I have seen since MtGox. This isn't shitcoiners or yield chasers getting rekt on Celsius, BlockFi or FTX . This is bitcoin maxis following the rules and losing everything. This will go down as one of the worst days in Bitcoins history

Anybody that has an MK3 with no passphrase should panic and move the funds anywhere else immediately.

If you have another Coldcard device without a passphrase, it is reasonable to be very concerned and to take some time tomorrow to make a plan to create a new wallet with dice-roll entropy and a strong passphrase There are 2 risks to taking action to migrate your stash in panic:

RISK 1: you risk screwing up your privacy by consolidating UTXOs carelessly. Very high risk, medium-low impact considering alternatives.

RISK 2: you risk doing something wrong in panic, not being careful with what you are doing.

If you have an MK3, these risks are nothing compared to the risk of doing nothing.

Generating a new wallet with 200 dice rolls and a strong passphrase on the same Coldcard seems like a good a short term great option to, since the issues seem to be all linked to seed generation.

Regarding the Coldcard related theft:
- Single sig only for now, but we don't know if it's related to the SEED or other private key exfiltration or bugs. Meaning A PASSPHRASE or ROLLING DICE may not save you.
- We don't know shit, we just know multiple REAL/KNOWN bitcoiners are affected, so it's not a random reddit FUD.
- We can't say for sure what the cause is, but the more we go, the more info we will get.
