To call the Americans unreliable allies is a delusion of politeness; they are, in truth, geopolitical parasites. They possess the moral depth of a starving predator and the attention span of a spoiled child, completely devoid of any principles beyond what lies in their immediate, self-serving horizon.

Their morality is a shifting theater of convenience, constantly rewritten to justify whatever fleeting, hedonistic indulgence or economic pillaging tickles their fancy in the moment. They do not have partners; they have temporary shields, sacrificial pawns to be used and discarded the second the wind changes.

They will eagerly consume your sacrifices, bleed your resources dry, and demand your blood in their self-inflicted crises, only to wipe their mouths and completely forget your existence when the bill comes due. To them, history began five minutes ago, and gratitude is a dead language.

They are fundamentally incapable of loyalty because their memory is as shallow as their greed. Every good deed, every historic sacrifice made on their behalf, is instantly erased the moment it conflicts with their next desperate grab for dominance. You cannot trust a parasite to care for the host, and you cannot trust a nation that views its friends merely as resources waiting to be mined.

For Canada to survive into the future, we must permanently strangle the naive, childish fantasy of a "special relationship." We are sharing a border with a volatile, amoral beast that is rotting from the inside out. The Canada of tomorrow cannot afford the luxury of hope or nostalgia. We must look south with clear, cold eyes, recognizing our neighbour not as a brother, but as a dangerous force of nature to be managed with absolute suspicion and trusted never.
