You’re contradicting yourself. You say “white is a skin tone,” then “race is irrelevant to skin tone,” then say complexion is enough to tell who is white. Enough for what—skin tone or race? If “white” only means a shade, you’ve abandoned the racial claim. If “white” means a race, skin tone alone can’t establish it by your own admission. And nobody said pigmentation itself is arbitrary. The gradient is real. The line where you decide one shade suddenly becomes “white” is the arbitrary part. So define the category and give me the rule.
