New discovery of things that spike my anxiety: when the T driver overshoots the platform and has to reverse to be correctly parked/aligned before opening the doors. NO THANK YOU.
Dear @alexwagner / @CrookedMedia ... today's Runaway Country episode in Apple Podcasts has last week's audio recording attached to this week's blurb and image.
Please don't make me listen to the Platner implosion episode a second time ๐ฌ
I constantly listen to my podcasts at 1.8x, so when I'm listening to audio content that I can't easily speed up it simulates the brain fog when you're getting sick ๐
Hot take: As an easily motion-sick human 9 times out of 10 I'd be less upset to get a cancelation or delay notice than to board & find out they inverted the equipment so the business class seat I paid to select front-facing is now rear-facing ๐
Amtrak > car, but ugh.
When the website says the issue is at Park Street but the driver says it's at Harvard ๐๐๐
But I will take ALL the issues on my personal commutes this week so we can hopefully just have a smooth field trip on Thursday
Dear @MBTA your drivers are trying but it's extremely difficult to hear verbal announcements over the near-constant beeping of open doors in the new red line cars.
@Polymarket Hi ... my friend and I witnessed an assault and/or mugging that was partially on-screen this morning! We were in Boston around 10:45am Feb 7, so ~7:45am Seattle is the incident.
We mentioned something to the Boston staff, but want to make sure it is "known" on the Seattle end!
After being officially introduced as a member of the Chicago White Sox, Munetaka Murakami wanted to do something special for the city of Chicago for the holiday season.
The newest White Sox masher donated $100 grocery gift certificates to 100 Chicago families served by the St. James Food Pantry. He donated an additional $10,000 to the food pantry as well ๐ค๐ค
