Weather permitting, the roof of the North Hide at VP @sosbirds will be repaired on Friday. Inevitably there will be some disturbance and please keep away from the hide when the work is underway.

@SarahWhild @ShropshireBAP @NE_WestMids @ShropsWildlife @sosbirds The Wood Duck near Greyfriars Bridge has been pinioned so won't be going far! I doubt it's the one from 30 yrs back. Interesting to know whether the wigeon has 2 complete wings, I've heard that it's quite tame - if it hasn't they may be escaping from a local collection.

@sosbirds Hello - I live in Shrewsbury and often walk on the Rae Brook Nature Reserve. I clearly saw and watched a dipper in the stream yesterday. Are they quite commonly seen here? Thank you.
