Sad to hear of former trainer Eric Guillot's passing on June 4, 2026.

Him and his brother would always invite me to have beans and rice at their end-of-the-season barn party. Good guys.

I am saddened to announce that Eric Guillot passed away on June 4th. His kidneys failed to work even with dialysis. He made a conscious decision to quit all the treatments less than two weeks ago and let his body succumb to the disease. RIP

The NYRA issued updated policies for @BelmontStakes Racing Festival at #Saratoga for 2026:

🍻 No outside alcoholic beverages will be permitted on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday of #Belmont weekend.

🧊 Also, all ice must be inside of a sealed bag when you enter the track.

🛒 And for the people who use a wagon to transport their stuff inside: no wagons allowed on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. Same for pop-up tents and folding tables — only allowed Wednesday and Sunday.

🪑 Folding chairs are allowed every day.
