@iamdvlan@7DaystoDie@XBOXInsider Microsoft and Sony both said N0 to experimental builds. I would be very surprised if they suddenly changed their minds.
@DrNathanHiggs@7DaystoDie Right at the bottom of the roadmap you posted, it says that dates are subject to change... THEY'VE CHANGED!
3.0 is what was going to be 2.7
Bandits are scheduled for update 4.0 now, by the end of 2026 (hopefully).
@Jordan_Sam_Laws@7DaystoDie V3.0 Dead Hot Summer Release Schedule:
- Streamer Weekend – Friday June 12th – Sunday June 14th
- Steam Experimental – Monday June 15th
- Steam & Console Stable Release – Monday June 29th (Barring Show stopping Bugs or Cert Issues)

@BaltoCreate@7DaystoDie On the bottom of the roadmap, it says:
"These dates are rough estimates and subject to change".
What you posted is an old roadmap as things have changed already.
Basically, what was going to be 2.7 is now 3.0 (Sandbox update) and what was originally 3.0 is now 4.0 (Bandits).
@LLY1478472 @7DaystoDie TFP mentioned a few times that they will not switch from Unity to Unreal engine for 7 Days to Die.
A new game from them (unconfirmed) will use the Unreal engine.
@k_style_isem@7DaystoDie Bandits will be in update 4.0
What was going to be 2.7 is now 3.0 (Sandbox update).
What was going to be 3.0 is now 4.0 (Bandits). They said 4.0 was going to happen before the end of the year (time will tell).
@KirillWrig51798@7DaystoDie 1 dev stream, then the week after will "probably" be the streamer weekend. The Monday after the streamer weekend is usually when they release the experimental build for PC. After fixing some bugs, the stable release (PC, PS5, Xbox) will follow 1-2 weeks later (if all goes well).
@Cid_Eminence@7DaystoDie Lots of settings to customize the game the way you want to play it. There will be some pre-sets that you can choose or even create your own pre-sets and save to use later. You can also change each settings individually.
@Michael22843427@7DaystoDie The most recent version is 2.6 so definitely not compatible with a 1.4 save. TFP are making so many changes with map generation and such that an old save would break your world.
The game is still in development so, maybe wait for the full release, maybe?
