So far reading has helped a lot. I'd thank everyone I know of who got me something personally but that's beyond my current capacities, I'm sorry for that.

I am now on the 3rd day post surgery. Exhausted and in pain. Frustrated because one of the nurses apparently knows my body better than me and has been very belittling and not taken me seriously when I was in pain (apparently I did it wrong?).

sedate myself and wait this out. 24 hours. Doable.

Also 2 rooms down the hallway are 2 people who had surgery the same day as I did, guess once I feel okay enough I am dropping by there to rant a bit. These folks were fairly empathetic.
