It's been fascinating to guide people through the mapping tool and see its effects in real time. Handing power to people - with this tool, and with the @pluscities Positive Energy Champions campaign - is the most effective and transformative way to navigate the energy transition.

The +CityxChange project in Limerick, and our work in it, is intensifying this year. The new potential to sell energy back to the grid is an amazing opportunity, and +CxC is helping people in the city get started. Learn more about the project:

People who join the project this year can get free smart meters to monitor energy, and specialised analysis of how their building could improve energy use. They'll get opportunities for energy sharing (making an energy community) and for feeding back to the grid.
