I hope you are ready for the next Step 'N Smush Playtest! @tinyshyguy and I have been working on a quality-of-life mini update.

Yes, that's right, a mini-update. We ran into quite a few hiccups over the past month while trying to squeeze the content we had planned for April and May.

Our game architecture was not as scalable as we had hoped, so much of our work went into restructuring the backend. We would rather deliver a polished experience than a buggy mess!

Not to mention, we have been collaborating with a few creators who will be revealed upon the release date. The art background is a BIG hint to who that will be. :3

You will expect to see the new playtest update on the 23rd of #MicroMay 2026 at 4:00 PM GMT / 11:00 AM EST!
