I am honoured to represent the voices of Canadian youth as a member of the Chief Science Advisor's Youth Council. I want to help shape the future of Canadian science, especially Canada's role in space exploration.
I am happy to announce the members of our new Youth Council! With diverse experience and representing all regions of Canada, they will advise me on science issues. I look forward to working with them. https://t.co/3g8Y7zclJi

Thank you @Astro_Jeremy for inspiring Canadians of all ages, and for leading us to the moon! This is a mission hard earned, well deserved, and so humbly accepted. 🚀"True leadership," as you put it so well.
@csa_asc
Very proud to have authored this Vision for Science with the guidance of the Office of the Chief Science Advisor and @ChiefSciCan! Give it a read, and let's build a bright future for science in Canada!
Good to see retraction of studies with flawed methodology from the literature. Science is not about conclusions, but rather about methods. Good methods is what makes good science.

Space debris is a global issue, space in Earth Orbit is a limited resource, and we have to take care of it for the sustainable use of space for all nations.
@GCovernton@Win_OpenData Space debris is such a thing! On the @ChiefSciCan my colleague @SpaceForCanada gave an impressive account of the issue. It’s interesting to think about parallels/difference in removal strategies to environments on earth. Can you imagine space MPs?!
Reminder: @ISED_CA Minister Navdeep Bains will make a major announcement about the CSA today! Tune in for a live event on our YouTube channel or our Facebook page starting at 10 a.m. ET! #DareToExplore
