In nearly a decade of serving in a public-facing role in gaming, I've never had my passion or work experience questioned due to my race, religion, gender, etc.
Not even after game delays or server outages, when I'm out on the front line as the bearer of bad news.
Sadly, it's no secret that my experience is far different than many game developers - especially when compared to devs that happen to come from marginalized communities.
This contrast shows that we all have work to do to continue making gaming - and game development - a better space for people to do their best work.
I appreciate how supportive our community has been over the years, and I'm glad to see that continue to this day.
Please continue to do your part.
Practice kindness.
Be human.
22 years ago, #Halo CE was released.
2 years ago, @Halo Infinite MP was released.
Today was my last day at 343.
Ever since I was introduced to Halo in 2003, I instantly fell in love with it. First time experiencing a LAN party with Halo I was instantly sold, ever since then I have been a huge fan, I think we did LAN parties 2 years straight, the sizes would always vary from 8 – 32 people having to run multiple LANs. Going to my first local tournament I was all in, after that I started doing Halo mods way back when on https://t.co/eK0TiXiQQY, then as the years went by, I started to go to a couple MLG tournaments and then transitioning back to being creative with MCC Forge and Halo 5 Forge which then led me to land a job to design Halo maps for Infinite.
My time here at 343 has been beyond amazing, seriously It has been one of the highlights of my life working on the MP team. I have learned so much from so many talented people! Seriously going to other people’s desks to see the amazing stuff they were working on was so energizing. Working on Halo has been a life-long dream of mine when I first started modding Halo CE on the PC way back when. I am beyond grateful to be able to do this with my job alongside with so many amazing people.
I want to give special thanks to,
Tom French for taking a chance with me and to kickstart this amazing adventure.
Cayle George for being an amazing Level Design lead and to supercharge my growth as a Designer.
Quinn Delhoyo for being an awesome example of a Game Dev, huge inspiration to me to go after my goals.
Also, to the rest of the Halo Infinite Multiplayer Development team, and the whole Halo Infinite Dev Team, you guys are amazing! Thank you so much for everything you have done and all our interactions we have had over the last 6 years.
After closing this chapter in my life I will be starting a new challenge and adventure soon!
PS, posting in the comments some fun pictures that reminds me of these good ole days.
@AnimeDubUpdates@hulu@DisneyPlus So the dub definitely doesn’t premiere at 730 pst on Disney plus in Canada. is there any other countries that it premieres at 7:30 today on Disney plus (not USA)?
Continuing to push further Last Broadcast has received more collision passes and more polished geometry. Screenshots were also updated so give them a look.
Uh...
My small niche indie map Last Broadcast has been updated with loads of collision passes,
A lighting update for those on the lowest brightness
Some piece changes and some taller more cinematic frozen waterfalls(eroded terrain fix pending)
Wip tho

I added LEGO to my Cyberpunk City in #HaloInfinite's Forge mode 😅
This limited time event for "OVERDRIVE" is only available April 1st - anyone who bookmarked should get the LEGO event automatically!
I know this is dumb, but please share or check it out if you've got time ❤️
@TheActMan_YT The comments on this tweet are killing me inside.
I’m really hoping that you use this as an opportunity to inform people of what an arena shooter is and not feed into the generalizations that have become the norm. Because there is an echo chamber of miscommunication out there…
