On Tuesday, June 16th, Vortex-1 took to the skies on our first test flight. The vehicle immediately started to pitch over following Liftoff from the pad and experienced a hard landing. No injuries or damage occurred to the site. A mishap investigation is already underway.

Now targeting Wednesday, July 1st for the Vortex-0 2-Stage flight test. We have to delay the launch due to the extreme heat in the area. The launch is coincidentally one year after S5 last flew. So S5s turn around was 365 days if it flies Wednesday.
Targeting Tuesday, June 30th for the Vortex-0 2-Stage flight test. This will be the first flight of our 2 stage variant of our Vortex-0 rocket. The launch window will open at 10:30 AM Centeral Time.
Let me know if you are interested in flying a payload or collaborating on Vortex-1's second flight test! Or if your interested in doing a collaboration or flying a payload on a later flight. We have a lot of launch opportunities throughout 2026 with Vortex-1 and Vortex-0!
