Project, founded by the European Commission, paving the way for a more flexible, universal & serial interface (USB-type) for on-orbit servicing
#HorizonEurope
Last week, after a first year full of exchanges and progress, we had the pleasure of gathering at Thales Alenia Spacein Cannes for a pivotal day in the Space USB project.
๐ง Afternoon: Technical Meeting The afternoon was dedicated to advancing the development of Common Passive Interfaces, a crucial milestone towards a flexible, universal, and serial interface for on-orbit servicing and assembly.
๐ Space USB is one of 8 groundbreaking projects in the ISOS domain that are laying the foundation for the future of space operations, contributing to Europeโs strategic autonomy in space technologies.
๐ฐDiscover the HaDEA-managed projects driving innovation in In-Space Operations and Services (ISOS).
These projects are contributing to build key strategic capacity to Act in Space and to place the EU in the driving seat of the Future Space Ecosystem.

๐ Exciting progress in European space technology!
We recently held a productive workshop as part of our ongoing European space project, bringing together the Space USB consortium and our Advisory Board. The focus of this second session was twofold:
This marks a major step for our project milestones and towards enabling future space missions with modular, easily assembled components. We're excited about the collaborative effort driving this innovation!
Thanks to our esteemed partners for their involvement and participation
๐ Excited to share Thales Alenia Space's latest article about our project! ๐
